Mike Ybarra, Vice President of Xbox and Microsoft, has charged against Sony’s attacks on backward compatibility of the games . The words of Jim Ryan, head of sales of Sony, about the little need for backward compatibility of Sony have not been well viewed by the Xbox executive.
A few days ago, Ryan gave an interview to TIME where he spoke about backward compatibility, among other issues. As he commented, even if it was an element requested by fans, in practice hardly enjoy retrocompatible games today.

Mike Ybarra’s response was not long in coming. Via Twitter, the Xbox executive has cleared his disagreement with Ryan’s words.

Not only has Jim Ryan’s words been misguided to fans, but also wrong. As we discussed at the time , games like Red Dead Redemption or GTA IV fired their sales scandalously on Amazon .
