Entre las diferentes plataformas de VOD que hay disponibles en Xbox One, seguimos de cerca los estrenos de Netflix y hemos abordado los estrenos de Crunchyroll para los amantes del anime. Pero hay una plataforma que está creciendo de forma notable en sus producciones, como es Prime Video. El servicio de VOD de Amazon incluido en los servicios ofrecidos en Amazon Prime hizo llegar el mes pasado la primera temporada de la serie basada en las novelas de Tom Clancy’s, Jack Ryan. Pero si miramos los estrenos de octubre nos encontramos con otra serie que alcanza ya su tercera temporada, The Man on the High Castle.
Pero además de esa producción que nos hace ver un mundo distópico en el que los nazis ganan la 2ª Guerra Mundial, al estilo de Wolfenstein, octubre también supone la llegada de otras producciones igualmente interesantes. Es así que podemos encontrarnos la nueva serie protagonizada por el actor británico, Hugh Grant, A Very English Scandal, así como la nueva serie del productor de Mad Men, The Romanoffs. The Man on the High Castle – 3ª Temporada
El Hombre en el Castillo, basada en la novela homónima de Philip K. Dick, y producida por Ridley Scott (Blade Runner) y Frank Spotnitz (The X-Files), nos cuenta lo que habría ocurrido si las potencias aliadas hubieran perdido la II Guerra Mundial y Japón y Alemania gobernaran los Estados Unidos. Con Rufus Sewell (John Adams), Luke Kleintank (Pretty Little Liars) y Alexa Davalos (Mob City).
